Investor Card
The Ministry of Investment issues a dedicated identification card to investors of all nationalities who are registered with a company or institution engaged in economic activity within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
This card is intended to streamline administrative procedures and offer incentive-based benefits that enhance the attractiveness and competitiveness of Jordan’s investment environment. It is issued based on specific criteria, including the size of the investment and the number of job opportunities created for Jordanian citizens.
The Investor Card is granted to:
- The investor personally
- First and second-degree family (legal dependents)
- Senior management staff employed by the investor
Its primary purpose is to simplify official procedures and facilitate the entry and exit of cardholders to and from the Kingdom.
Benefits of the Investor Card
Through the issuance of the Investor Card, the Ministry of Investment seeks to:
- Simplify and accelerate procedures with government entities, offering priority processing and high-quality services to cardholders
- Expedite procedures related to investment projects
- Ensure priority handling of transactions with authorities involved in the investment process
- Officially recognize cardholders as active investors in Jordan
- Facilitate entry and movement through border crossings and airports, and provide dedicated support upon arrival in the Kingdom
